These are some of the nose art panels I have painted. I got the idea after building the P-40 Warhawk replica.

These are samples of some of the nose art pieces I made from various left-over aircraft parts. They are on aircraft aluminum.
Most are based on actual original/existing paintings on real planes.

This started out as a more modern drop tank. It was cut in half and extended to make the shape more accurate to the real plane.
The exhaust pipes are custom made from sections of the exhaust pipe from an old bus. The propeller spins so a low-speed electric motor could be installed. The stand it is on is temporary as it is meant to hang on a shop wall.
