The Palms Aparments' Mosaic
May 2009 - July 2009.Clear Lake City, TX
This project was very challenging working with an unfamiliar media. After the approval of my submitted proposal images the owners hired private contractors to build the slab outside the lease office by the pool. The mosaic is nearly 24ft long by 11ft wide and made up mostly of 3/4in square tiles. These glass tiles were all cut to the design and laid individually by hand. There is a time lapse video below .
Presidio Aparments' "Drive-In Theatre"
June 2008 - February 2009. Bryan, TX
This project consisted of creating a faux drive-in movie theatre in the courtyard space. I built everything except for the movie screen itself which was purchased by the owners after my part was completed. I was contacted and created a proposal accompanied with a mock-up miniature of the ticket booth. More details photographs of the car couches can be found under the Custom Work section.
